This sport-scale, radio control model airplane kit of the F-106 Delta Dart is based upon Dan Savage's earlier award-winning F-106 design. This version has been updated to improve the fuselage construction and give easy access to the roomy fuselage interior. It features a fully cambered wing with the drooped leading edge that is such a characteristic feature of the F-106 design. The model is designed to use most 650w-800w, 3S LIPO 70mm tractor fans or the new, advanced WM400 pusher fan. It will accept most mini retractable landing gear or you can use a bungee launch system instead.

The inlet ducts and aft fuselage have been simplified to speed construction but sacrifice nothing for performance. The full-flow inlet ducting is area-ruled for maximum efficiency, especially when using the advanced WM400 fan unit.

All of the laser-cut parts needed to build the model are here. All laser cut balsa parts are of the finest grade of balsa available.

NOTE: The laser-cut wood short kit does not include the wood for the wing tips, fuselage filler blocks or strip and sheet stock. You need to purchase these separately.

The step-by-step construction guide contains over 160 photos showing every step of the model's construction from the laying of the wing ribs to the gluing and shaping of the nose cone. Keep a printed copy out in the shop while you build the model.

Finish your F-106 in the 159th Fighter Interceptor Squadron Bicentennial paint scheme. The markings set is made up from a combination of cut vinyl and inkjet decals.
