1:10-scale F-111 molded parts, including fuselage, wings, horizontal tails, vertical fin, engine nozzles, inlet spikes inlet lips, EF-111 tail-mounted receiving pod and ALQ-99E "canoe".
These parts are closed-mold parts which were made from molds from the NASA 1:10-scale wind tunnel model. (Free-flight wind tunnel)
This is meant for the scratch-builder. I have builder's plans in PDF format for the bulkheads and inlet and tailpipe ducting that would accommodate both a single 5-inch fan or dual 100mm fans.
F-111 Main Landing gear, including Sullivan wheels and scale 3D-printed hub caps and all pneumatics.
The MLG is fully developed and capable of supporting a 16-17 Lb. model. The trunnion and upper shock mounts are 1/4" thick, laminated, laser-cut G10. The shocks are all-metal 1/8-scale HPI Racing units. The shock mounts to the upper mounts using Ofna 1/8-scale all-steel U-joints. All the suspension parts are 1/8-scale R/C car heavy-duty racing units. All suspension pivots ride on either steel pins or steel balls. The wheel axles ride in the hub carriers on dual ball bearings. Except for the trunnion, trunnion linkage and upper shock mounts, all parts are off-the-shelf items that can be purchased through Tower Hobbies, Hobby People or McMaster-Carr. I can supply a complete bill-of-materials to the buyer.
Jet Mart 1/8"-thick square aluminum tube wing boxes with stainless steel pivot bolts & bearings. These items were sold with Jet Mart 1:10-Scale F-14 Tomcats, so they are proven to be airworthy for the FB-111.
I've also got the nose gear set up, if you're interested. This includes a Robart 550 90-degree retract and 3/8" Robotstrut.
For the above, not including the nose gear, I'd like to get $1,100. If you want the nose gear set up included, I'd like to get $1,200.
The FB-111 fuselage is currently cut into two pieces to fit into the 64" x 21" x 13" shipping container. This can only be shipped via FedEx or UPS as the USPS does not handle boxes this big. Shipping & insurance will need to be quoted based upon the delivery location. (CONUS only - No overseas, no Canada)
